iVideoBlast - a Web2.0 internet start-up company - is the brainchild of two people sitting around blue-skying creative and innovative ways to merge technology and multimedia entertainment.

We love Apple technology. We love digital multimedia entertainment - especially the power and influence of video.

When the 4th generation iPod Photo became available we began talking about all the Incredible things we could do if the iPod had video capabilities. Of course it was just innovative thinking... that is until October 2005 when Steve Jobs announced the 5th generation iPod with video functionality.

The day the Apple announcement was released we both were frantically emailing and calling one another with ideas.

iVideoBlast.com was born.

Our number one goal for iVideoBlast is to create the best centralized community for iPod entertainment. We are creating a member-driven community of iPod video enthusiasts.

Member-driven means members helping members. It means listening to our community and implementing benefits they suggest rather than just things we think will be 'cool'. It's all about them.

iVideoBlast.com was founded in October 2005 by Scott Britner and Justin Thorn. The website was officially launched on December 12th, 2005.

Together Scott and Justin have over 25 years experience with computers and technology.

Scott is an award-winning software developer and database designer. He specializes in creating dynamic, application based web interfaces. Scott also has a strong background in information-based marketing.

Justin is an architectural designer whose interests are deeply rooted in computers. He has a passion for design and creativity that is driven by the multimedia capabilities of today's powerful computers. Justin is responsible for creating the iVideoBlast logo and other graphics on the site along with encoding the iPod videos.
